I started this forum to generate dialogue and rebut some false information about stucco, the stucco process and the problems that are currently associated with stucco.
Much of today's information is incorrect, especially the moisture problems that stucco is bearing the most of the criticism for.
I'm happy to engage in dialogue about these and other issues as we develop this information source.

Now that we are well into the second decade of the 2,000's, we've witnessed the progress of moisture issues, technology and solutions. Although the building code has not changed dramatically since the 2003 changes, the industry has been devastated. Small stucco companies especially hit very hard particularly in the new construction arena. Obviously new construction in general is down, simply because the economy is down, but stucco has the double whammy, with all the bad press, topped with economic slowdown, many companies have shut their doors, or moved into other construction segments.
